Databases that do not offer the Full Experience within DataConnect are still easily accessable. You can create connections, build queries and produce web services for use with clients such as SAP Dashboard Design/ Xcelsius.
The only difference is that you may not be able to use the tile-based query builder. Depending on the database, you may see a list of the entities (tables, columns, view and stored procedures).
The query designer UI may not be able to automatically produce SQL code that functions with your database. If this is the case, you are always able to manually enter your SQL and have the converted into web services.
This great catch-all means that no matter which database you are using, DataConnect allows you to build web services.
