Originally Flynet Xcelsius Server 2010 (Xcelsius Engage Server) was designed to bring connected Xcelsius dashboards to organisations that wanted stunning real time data visualisation, without any additional business systems or large reporting suites. The agile standalone product served this market well, but we felt there was room for improvement, bringing complex dashboards to less technical users.

Connecting your dashboards
Flynet Xcelsius 2011 was designed with the business user in mind. The new Xcelsius DataConnect includes a graphical interface that guides and supports users through the previously daunting task of connecting their Xcelsius dashboards to live data, including Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Excel and many more.
Connection management
DataConnect allows you to manage your connections and store them in a central location, this minimises the workload as dashboard developers can reuse connections that other people have created to access the same data.
Licensing
Flynet Xcelsius Server 2011 has a new licensing model that can now accommodate a combination of named user licenses and concurrent session licenses, giving you the flexibility you need and saving you from any unnecessary outlay.
Most importantly this product is both complete and standalone. There are no other components or licenses required to connect and view your Xcelsius dashboards. You do not require Crystal Reports Server, or any of the SAP/Business Objects stack products to take advantage of these Xcelsius dashboards in your organisation.
